Melissa Davis, LPC- she/her/hers
Hi. I’m Mel. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Bachelor of Science in Education from Berry College and a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Mercer University. For the past 9 years, I’ve had the privilege of working in a therapeutic school environment supporting neurodivergent teens and young adults. That experience deeply shaped my belief in the importance of connection, patience, and meeting people where they are.
I now bring that same approach into my private practice in Tucker, GA, where I am excited to support clients in a more individualized and collaborative setting.
In therapy, I take an empathetic, person-centered approach. I aim to create a space where you can feel seen, heard, and accepted as you are. You don’t need to come in feeling strong or put together. Together, we’ll gently explore the parts of your story where you feel stuck and work toward building resilience and inner strength over time.
When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me hiking, going to concerts, spending time with my two cats, having movie nights with friends, or keeping an eye on the weather. I have a bit of a special interest in storm chasing.

My work is grounded in a neurodivergent-affirming, relationship-based approach shaped by 9 years in a therapeutic school environment. I focus on meeting you where you are and creating a space that feels flexible, collaborative, and real. In addition to traditional talk therapy, I integrate movement, creative expression, and community-based experiences to support meaningful, lasting growth.
